Labour Law, 2013 [Lao PDR]

This law defines the principles, regulations and measures on administration, monitoring, labour skills development, recruitment, and labour protection in order to enhance the quality and productivity of work in society, so as to ensure the transformation to modernization and industrialization aimed at safeguarding the rights of employees and employers, as well as the legitimate interests and the continual improvement of their livelihoods, while contributing to the promotion of investment, national socio-economic development, and regional and international links.
