Boeng Prek Tub freshwater protected area with 16.3 hectares located in Preah Sihanouk province was established on 13 September 2016. The creation of this area aims to preserve and protect the natural environment and use its service sustainably and to encourage the community as well as the the public to participate in protecting and preserving the resource and biodiversity in this area.
