Name Sub-decree No.143 on Establishment of protected forest and biodiversity conservation Keo Seima in Mondulkiri and Kratie
Description

The Royal Government of Cambodia issued the sub decree in establishing a protected forest and biodiversity conservation area “Seima” that located in Keo Seima, Mondulkiri and Kratie province. The area extends over 292,690 hectares. It is classified into core protected forest (187,983 hectares) and buffered protected forest 1 (30,922 hectares). Another area of 73,785 hectares was set up as a second buffered protected forest. The local indigenous communities as well as those who live in or near the protected forest are allowed to use the buffered protected forest for NTFP and eco-tourism activities. Map along with spatial information was attached in the annex.
