Baseline survey on mine/ERW (2009-2014)

This baseline survey data shows information about contamination locations of explosive remnants of war (ERW) and mines from 2009 to 2014. The data also included fear levels, proximity distance to, and class types of landmines in which the contamination locations are located. The data source is taken from the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) and contributed by Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX). ODC's map and data team collected the data in shapefile format from HDX website and re-published it on ODC's website for the non-commercial purpose only.

Process Step Open Development Cambodia (ODC) downloaded the data from HDX (https://data.humdata.org) as ESRI shapefile. In addition to the existing file format, ODC's map and data team also transformed it to SQLITE file that can create data as DB_TABLE and WMS which can download as SHP, GeoJSON and KML . The team used WMS to make the data visualization layer and added the result onto ODC map explorer https://opendevelopmentcambodia.net/map-explorer.
