National defense strategy update 2024

The goal of Cambodia's national defense until 2030 is focused on permanently maintaining peace, protecting all national interests, and strengthening military cooperation on the international stage. In order to achieve this goal, a number of strategic tasks are considered a priority. However, the influence of regional and global crises consistently poses a concern regarding negative impacts on Cambodia's security, political stability, sovereignty, and economic development. Political stability and internal security are the most crucial factors in protecting the harmony of the people, strengthening safety, public order, and maintaining the continuity of national development.
