Strategic development plan on water resources and meteorology for 2024 -2028

The Strategic Development Plan for the Water Resources and Meteorology Sector 2024-2028 was prepared in accordance with the Royal Government of Cambodia's Pentagonal Strategy - Phase I, and involved consultation and participation from the Ministry's specialized departments, Ministry leadership, and various development partners. This Strategic Plan has four chapters and defines priority activities, clear time-bound indicators for implementation, and a mechanism for monitoring and evaluation based on a results framework. It also outlines the responsibilities of each specialized department to achieve success in the efficient and sustainable development and management of water resources, with the goal of strengthening water security, supporting the ecosystem, and mitigating damage caused by natural disasters such as climate change, floods, and droughts, in order to achieve resilient socio-economic development.
