Report by the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies into legal issues in disaster preparedness for Laos. Research methods included analysis of Laos legal documents and surveys and consultations with of more than 100 stakeholders. The report covers the legal framework for disasters and communicable disease disasters in Laos, relating to institutional arrangements, early warning surveillance and international assistance, among others.
