Vulnerability assessment of climate risks in Attapeu province, Lao PDR

The report of a study to assess household and community vulnerability to floods in Attapeu Province, Laos. This study is one of three assessing the potential consequences of climate change on wetlands communities and livelihoods in Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. In particular, the objectives are: 1) to document the frequency and intensity of floods and record perceived changes in these patterns 2) to identify the impacts of floods on rural livelihoods 3) to identify local coping strategies, and 4) to consider the viability of current coping strategies under changing climate conditions.
