Land acquisition, investment, and development in the Lao coffee sector: successes and failures 2015

Laos has become a LSLA hotspot in Southeast Asia, at least in terms of investor interest and hectares granted, if not in area implemented. For a small country such as Laos, an impressive amount of literature exists on the topic, but much of it is both general and descriptive at thenational level18 or based on village-level critical case studies of LSLA livelihood impacts.
