Rights of ethnic minority groups in the Amended Constitution of Vietnam

Since the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, respect for ethnic minority groups in the context of ethnic diversity and the need to support ethnic minority people to overcome challenges to achieve social economic development has been emphasized in the first Constitution (1946). These emphases were consistently mentioned in the next 4 Amended Constitutions and received more attention in the 2013 Amended Constitution ratified by the National Assembly.
