Offshore Block A provides buzz to Cambodia's petroleum industry

Cambodia's offshore Block A covers an area of 4,709 square kilometers in the water depths of between 50 and 80 meters. With the approval of the partners and the government, the Block A joint venture is expected to consist of KrisEnergy (52.25 %), MOECO Cambodia Co.Ltd (28.5%), GS Energy (14.25%), and Ministry of Mines and Energy (5%). An agreement on the taxation between the Block A holders and the government is necessary for other paper work of the exploitation moving forwards.
