A report about a project to identify, evaluate and conserve key wetland sites in the Mekong Delta. The project objectives were to review existing and planned biodiversity conservation activities; identify sites for conversation, conduct preliminary assessments of resource use, produce strategy and proposals, and train Vietnamese staff in survey and conservation assessment. The report is based on the results of conservation fieldwork conducted between January and August 1999 in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam.
