This strategy aims to determine the overall development direction, establish independence and strengthen the predictability and stability of the garment, footwear and bag industry in Cambodia to continue to promote the development of this sector sustainably and environmentally. To achieve the objectives and vision​ above this strategy aims: 1. Continue to strengthen human resources to increase productivity and create career paths for workers 2. Continue to improve working conditions and welfare of workers 3. Promote domestic and foreign investment in high value-added industries and focus on high-value and unique products 4. Attract investment in supporting industries to serve this sector and 5. Promote market diversification for the export of garments, footwear and bags.
