Law on Tobacco Control, 2009 [Lao PDR]

This law determines the principles, regulations and measures on the control, management, monitoring, and supervision of the production, import, sales, advertisement of tobacco products, to protect all people from negative effects of tobacco, aimed at decreasing unhealthy consumption and spending, as well as protecting the ambient environments, so that all can effectively contribute to the protection and development of the nation.
