Prakas No.101 on Establishment and Management of Community Forest Areas in Battambang Province

Prakas No.101 is to establish 13 Forestry Communities which are located in Borvil, Moung Russei and Ratanak Mondul district of Battambang Province, and cover the areas of 3,531 hectares. The aim of this establishment is to conserve the biodiversity, offer the traditional use of forest products and non forest product for supporting the local livelihood, tradition and religious believes. Moreover, the establishment of these forestry communities is contributing to the government's policy on the poverty reduction. Maps and boundary along with coordinates were attached in annex 1 and annex 2 of this circular.
