Civil society’s role and contributions towards good government and poverty reduction in the Lao PDR 2015

Around the world, there is wide recognition that societal, economic and environmental problems cannot be solved by governments acting on their own, and meanwhile there is a growing role for non-state actors to play in this regard (Brinkerhoff, J.M., and Brinkerhoff, D.W, 2002)
