District a model for success in beating haze

CHIANG MAI’S Mae Chaem district has gone from suffering the North’s worst haze to this year becoming one of the least-affected areas. This year there were only 30 hotspots in Mae Chaem from February 15 to April 15, compared to 384 a decade ago.
