Sustainable finance taxonomy for the Cambodian banking sector

Cambodia’s growing economy and energy demand make sustainable development essential to reduce emissions and support long-term growth. The report highlights the importance of renewable energy, sustainable business practices, and green investment. To support this transition, the National Bank of Cambodia introduced a Sustainable Finance Taxonomy that sets clear standards for sustainable activities, initially focusing on the energy, transport, and construction sectors.
